Intertechelectro Group of Companies will design a MSW management complex in Krasnoturyinsk

“Intertechelectro - Project”, LLC (part of the Intertechelectro Group of Companies) will develop a project for the construction of a municipal solid waste management complex in Krasnoturinsk (the Sverdlovsk region). The project owner is EcoTechService, LLC.
The project provides for the construction of a waste sorting plant with a throughput of 130 thousand tons per year, a solid municipal waste landfill with an estimated waste input capacity of at least 85 thousand tons of waste per year and composting complex (production of service soil from organic waste). The experts of Intertechelectro - Project will carry out the required engineering survey, develop project and detailed design documentation, and projects of the sanitary protection zones substantiation. In addition, all the required expert examination procedures will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the applicable legislation.
The development of design documentation for the new waste sorting plant and landfill is scheduled to be completed in August 2020, and the entire complex will be designed before the end of 2021. Commissioning of the new MSW management facility will allow for an increase in the volume of waste sent for recycling, up to 35 percent, and will significantly improve the environmental situation in Krasnoturyinsk.
Intertechelectro Group is one of the leaders in the design and construction of MSW management facilities in Russia. Earlier, the Company designed and commissioned one of the largest waste sorting plants in Russia – the Tyumen Waste Sorting Plant with a throughput of 350 thousand tons of waste per year. The design of waste sorting plants in Tobolsk and Ishim (Tyumen region) has been completed and their construction is in progress, as well as the design of the Nizhny Tagil plant (the Sverdlovsk region).
